Applicants to the MBA degree program who meet certain provisions will be considered for admission without submitting the results of a GMAT or GRE. The following provisions qualify an applicant to be considered for the GMAT waiver:

• An advanced degree (e.g. master’s, doctorate, JD, etc.) from a regionally accredited institution.
• A professional business – related certificate or license issued in the United States that requires a test of field-specific knowledge, work experience, and at least a baccalaureate degree (e.g. Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), or Certified Financial Planner (CFP)).
• An earned undergraduate degree within the last 10 years from a regionally accredited institution, with a cumulative minimum GPA of 3.0.
• An earned Graduate Certificate in Business Foundations from ÇÑ×ÓÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 and no course grade below a B-.

The Master of Science in Computer Science program seeks to attract individuals from various backgrounds who are highly motivated and prepared to meet the challenges of a rigorous advanced degree curriculum. In addition to a bachelor’s degree, applicants should be familiar with the organization of computers and have competencies in a high-level programming language such as C, C++, or Java; discrete and continuous mathematics; and data structures and algorithms.

*The GRE will be waived for applicants who meet any one of the following criteria:

• Have earned, or are completing, an undergraduate degree from ÇÑ×ÓÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø
• Have earned, or are completing, an undergraduate degree in Computer Science
• Have earned, or are completing, an undergraduate degree in any major with a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher
• Were previously enrolled in the MS in Computer Science program and are applying for readmission.
• Have earned an undergraduate degree outside ÇÑ×ÓÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø and have completed COMP-151 and COMP-152 at ÇÑ×ÓÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø and earned a grade of B or better in both courses.

• Three letters of recommendation from professionals or educators, only 1 letter can be from a professor in the BSU Department of Counselor Education, and at least one of which should be from a supervisor who has knowledge of the applicant’s counseling activities

Early Admission Option
