I love working with youths and their families. I have had the amazing opportunity to work in schools as an Elementary Teacher, a Guided Reading Specialist, a High School Counselor, and a Middle School Counselor. I have also had the opportunity to work with youths and adults in the clinical setting as an In-Home Therapist, a group practice clinician, and currently as a private practice clinician and owner of SolQuest Therapy. I love to bring my experiences into the classroom. I am a Licensed School Counselor as well as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. Additionally, I am a Registered Play Therapist. I am an active member of the American Counselors Association (ACA), American School Counselors Association (ASCA), Association of Counselor Education and Supervision (ACES) and Association of Play Therapists (APT). As part of my scholarship activities, I have presented at state, regional, national, and international conferences. Many of my presentations and research interests focus on topics involving data collection for school counselors, working with the LGBTQIA population in schools and the clinical setting, technology & teaching, as well as understanding the transgender journey.
