The College-Level Examination Program (CLEP) is a standardized, college credit-granting exam program maintained by The College Board. The CLEP offers 33 exams in five subject areas, covering material taught in courses that you may generally take in your first two years of college. Most CLEP exams are designed to correspond to one-semester courses, although some correspond to full-year or two-year courses.

To get started, go to the official CLEP website to . You will choose your exam and pay an $93 test fee in advance online (on test day, you will pay a $35 proctor fee, totaling $128). After you register for your test online, print out your CLEP Exam Registration Ticket(s), and bring it with you on test day. CLEP Exam Registration Tickets must display the exact examination you wish to take. If the examination name on the voucher does not match the exam you wish to take on the day of your appointment, you will have to complete additional steps on the CLEP website prior to taking your exam; this process may delay or cancel your appointment entirely.
CLEP also requires that you present a current, valid, government-issued ID that contains a photo and signature. on the official CLEP website. Note: If you do not meet the minimum identification requirement, we cannot administer the test to you.
ÇÑ×ÓÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø is a fully-funded CLEP test center for qualified active-duty military test candidates, qualified military spouses, and qualified civilian employees. Exams for qualified military personnel, spouses, and civilian employees are funded by the DANTES program. To learn more, and to check your eligibility, visit and search "military".
CLEP exams are offered five days a week, Monday through Friday, at any point during our office hours. Reschedule requests must be made at least 48 hours prior to your test time. You can schedule an exam in one of the following ways:

All exams cost $128 each, with the fee split into two separate payments ($93 to CLEP in advance; $35 to BSU on test day). Test takers who wish to take examinations which include the optional essay must pay an additional $10 for materials & supplements. For your $35 proctor fee, we accept:
