The ÇÑ×ÓÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø School of Social Work (SSW) received major grants, in the last three years, to support undergraduate and graduate social work students. Graduate students may apply for grants when admitted into the program and other times throughout the year. Social work undergraduates are eligible for social work funds when they are accepted into the practice and field sequence.
The availability of scholarship funds is fluid as we may receive funds at any time. Funds awarded to the school of social work typically have criteria, designated by funders, to support the workforce pipeline in specific fields of practice (e.g. behavioral health, substance abuse disorders), populations (including BIPOC students), and program focus (e.g. in field internships, tuition, etc.). These awards positively impact our students’ work-life balance and their pursuit of education.
When a student is accepted to the School of Social Work as an MSW student, and/or accepted, as an undergraduate, into practice and field education, they may complete and submit the application to be considered for available funding. Decisions will be made by program faculty and field staff in collaboration with the Office of Financial Aid. We encourage all students to submit a FAFSA form for consideration of any scholarship assistance at ÇÑ×ÓÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø School of Social Work. Submitting an application is not a guarantee of receiving funding. Funding is granted on a first come, first served basis until resources are fully depleted.
We want to thank the Foundations and Funders who have supported social work students at ÇÑ×ÓÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø School of Social Work with their generosity and the positive impact to the lives of our students.
